Parrish Heritage Day Parade, Festival and Chili Cook Off

We welcome your interest in participation in our annual Parrish Heritage Festival & Chili Cook-Off sponsored by the Parrish Civic Association. The event this year will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 11 am to 3 pm.
The Parrish Civic Association wants to enrich the community with the heritage of Parrish and bring residents together. This family friendly event will feature musical entertainment, kids’ activities, vendor booths, food trucks--- and, of course, Chili!Keep a look out for additional activities that are constantly being added!
This is a great opportunity to promote your local business. Prior to the event, advertisement will take place through social media, in the Parrish Village News, and via flyers that will be circulated throughout the community and at local venues. The event will also be posted on county calendar sites.

Vendor Participation:
DUE TO BOOTH SPACE RESTRICTIONS, WE ARE UNABLE TO HOST VENDORS OR ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE SOLELY DISTRIBUTING INFORMATION AND MARKETING. Participating vendors are asked to have an approved activity or item for sale in your booth. The activity/item for sale must be described on the application.
Cost per vendor booth is $50 (non-refundable). You can submit your application and pay online at www.parrishchili.com or submit your application with a check payment to the Parrish Civic Association, PO Box 257, Parrish, Florida 34219.
Vendor Product:
We are increasing the number of vendors selling crafts and homemade items each year. PLEASE LIST SPECIFIC ITEMS AVAILABLE FOR SALE (e.g.. SAM MOON JEWELRY, MICHE’S BAG PURSES, BBQ RIBS, ETC. VS. “HOME CRAFTED”) TO ASSIST US IN DETERMINING POSSIBLE DUPLICATION.
Location:
Vendor spaces will be on the Railroad Museum property on US 301 in Parrish.
Space Rental:
Your space rental is not considered secured until we receive both the application AND payment for the booth rental. Confirmation will be provided upon receipt of both.
Set Up/Teardown:
Due to the growth of this event and to maintain fairness and a smooth set-up process, it will now be necessary to stagger the set-up times for vendors. Vendors will be given a time certain to come to the grounds, unload vehicles and remove the vehicle from inside the grounds. NO VENDORS WILL BE PERMITTED INTO THE VENUE PRIOR TO HIS/HER ALLOTED TIME SLOT. The grounds will be open the night before (Friday night) for any vendor who wishes to set up early. Security does stay on the grounds all night. ABSOLUTELY NO VEHICLES WILL BE PERMITTED INTO THE VENUE AFTER 9:15 A.M. Teardown will be permitted at 3:00 p.m. For the safety and consideration of all sponsors, volunteers, participants and attendees, NO TEARDOWN OR EARLY DEPARTURE WILL BE PERMITTED PRIOR TO 3:00 P.M.
Parking:
Designated vendor parking spaces will be available on the Railroad Museum grounds. SET-UP ON THE FESTIVAL GROUNDS MUST BE COMPLETE AND VEHICLES MUST BE MOVED TO THE PARKING LOT BY THE DESIGNATED TIMES ASSIGNED TO EACH VENDOR.
Acceptance of Application:
Vendors will be notified of application approval no later than February 1, 2023.
